Abstract

The chapter begins with a discussion of stress and its effects upon mind and body, and establishing them as a natural human reaction. The chapter continues with advice on resilience and how to cope with stressful situations. It then turns to the ‘Five Ways to Well-being’ model, thus providing more strategies for you to consider for your own well-being and that of others, including connecting with others and overcoming shyness.
