Abstract

This chapter looks at various time management and goal-setting strategies. It considers the need to establish a baseline of levels of ability and knowledge in the areas a student thinks are appropriate. From this baseline exercise, students can set themselves goals that they will monitor over time. The level of difficulty and challenge that students set themselves in these goals is important.
